RS-Ruby is a 128 beam LiDAR specially designed for L4+ autonomous driving. Compared with RS-LiDAR-32, RS-Ruby has got a 3 times much higher vertical angular resolution of 0.1°, maximum detection range improved by 2 to 3 times. RS-Ruby fully fulfills the requirements of high speed autonomous driving.

As a flagship among all multi-beam LiDAR product, RS-Ruby achieves unprecedented safety and reliability. Not only it meets the automotive requirement on low working temperature of -40℃, but also it achieves breakthrough in anti-interference level: shielding multi-LiDAR interference and ambient light interference in all-weather. To achieve higher perception accuracy in front of the vehicle, RS-Ruby is designed with an uneven layout of laser channels: nearly 100 channels in the middle part have a much higher resolution of 0.1°. This design makes it possible to cast 5 laser beams on a pedestrian of 1.7 m high at 200m away, and makes the vehicle be able to detect obstacles farther away.
